Kim Dinh is a neighbourhood Vietnamese pho joint/diner.  It is the type of place you go when you feel like Vietnamese food but don't feel like spending much.  My lemon chicken rice was authentic, but it tasted mediocre.  I have had better and fresher.  Food came fast.  The services was efficient.  As a convenient lunch and dinner eatery, Kim Dinh gets the job done.  The decor is pretty dated.  It is not the type of place where you want to impress someone.

I went to this place for dinner. I wanted to try their house special pho and also added Satay to it for an extra dollar.

I wouldn't say the pho was great nor was bad. It was edible. Kind of skimpy on the meat and beef balls compared to other restaurants. They did not give me the bean sprouts and mint either.

Prices were higher than expected considering amount of food they give you compared to other pho restaurants. It came up to almost $11 including satay added to it. Kind of pricy.

Don't think I will come back.

Came here for dinner and enjoyed the beef Pho combo with everything. It came with a small plate of plump bean sprouts, lime wedge and fresh basil.

The sliced flank was rare in the bowl ready to bury in hot broth.

They also had decent roti canai, curry noodles and really good fried chicken.

    Good prices

We got take out from here, it was the closest restaurant near by. Average I would say. We Ordered a grilled chicken vermicelli, Malaysian curry beef brisket with roti, a large rare beef rice noodle soup.

The noodles was good, curry and vermicelli tasted nice too, but such small portions than dining in, and you are charged the same price!!! The container for vermicelli is flatter box... so it looked full but it only had a thin layer for noodles. The deep fried spring rolls was the best. Roti , my kids really enjoyed.

For take out I would go somewhere else.... probably dining in would be a better option.

I'm surprised that the rating for this restaurant isn't a lot higher! This is my go to Vietnamese restaurant in Markham!

For context, ever since I was young whenever I went to a Vietnamese restaurant I would always order lemongrass chicken and not Pho, for some reason I never liked the taste. However since coming to Kim Dinh, I'm addicted their Pho, their broth has such amazing flavour and I never feel the need to add any extra sauces. Their other dishes are amazing too, from their Roti & Curry (another favourite), to their Spring Rolls. They have a large menu, but I never feel like the quality of the dishes suffer.

It is a small restaurant, and it can get busy at times, however the staff are friendly and helpful!
